It was initially released for some other platforms on 21st September 2004, to co-incide with the release of the Star Wars Trilogy DVD set. Developed by Pandemic Studios and published by LucasArts, it is the first of the released games in the Star Wars: Battlefront series. Star Wars: Battlefront is a 1st and 3rd person shooter video game based on the Lucas Arts Star Wars film genre.
